Sleeping in a barrel

Is there anything more intriguing for a wine lover, than sleeping in a barrel, where wine is left for months until reaching its full potential?

In Marche, lost in the countryside around Ascoli Piceno, there is a special place where you can spend the night in two wooden barrels, masterfully restored and refurbished to become intimate hideouts.

One of the barrels functions as a bedroom, featuring a bed with slatted net and a futon-like mattress; from its French door, you can see the landscape, where mountains and hills alternate. The second barrel is divided into two parts, one being the breakfast area, and the second, a simple yet fully functioning bathroom.

We will lead you to the discovery of one of the most fascinating yet underrated wine regions in Italy, among valuable labels, exquisite truffles, and Medieval villages rich in art and beauty.
